Vintage-inspired wedding dresses and veils are having their well deserved moment! As a former vintage bride myself, I could not be more excited to share in these luxe lace, basque waist, and blusher veil looks. Vintage and timeless seem to go hand in hand, especially when it comes to bridal fashion, so we understand the appeal of selecting a dress or accessory that will stand the test of time.

So whether you are just starting your shopping or are only here for the finishing touches (hello after party look?) this list will have something for every old soul.
1. Basque-Waist Lace: Caira Dress
Basque-waist is a bridal term you're probably familiar with, if you've been keeping your eye on bridal trends for the past few months. But in case you are new here, let me introduce you to this vintage-inspired wedding dress trend that is back in all its original glory for our 2025 brides:
Aspen Avenue Photography - Grace + Ivory's Caira Party Dress
Seen above on our new Caira party dress, a basque waist is all about the center V that drops below your natural waist line. Known for elongating the torso with a regal flare, we especially love how a basque-waist looks in lace. Caira features a long lace sleeve with delicate button details, a scalloped neckline and hem, and an added layer of crinoline (think stiff tulle!) for some extra flounce in the a-line skirt.
2. A Grace + Ivory Blusher Veil
From simple tulle to a dramatic ruffle design, we are excited to expand our collection of blusher veils this year! An old tradition that made its way back into popularity, thanks to Sofia Richie's gorgeous and timeless bridal portraits, a blusher veil is a must for any vintage loving bride.

If you've already found your dress and you've chosen all-over lace...we recommend going long with length and keeping the overall design of your blusher veil simple. But if you've chosen a crepe or satin, simplistic design for your dress...the ruffle veil may be just what you need to round out your vintage-inspired wedding look.
3. A Satin Skirt: Arabella Dress
There is no denying that satin is the timeless bridal fabric! With more and more brides forgoing the lace and the glitter, simple satin gowns in both fitted and a-line silhouettes, have been everywhere the past few wedding seasons. For 2025 brides, we are seeing the reemergence of the beautiful satin ballgown.

Grace + Ivory's new Arabella dress (now showing in our Chicago showroom!) does this vintage-inspired wedding dress trend impeccably...with its full ballgown satin skirt and layered dimensional slit. Featuring a variety of off-the-shoulder, skinny strap, or strapless options...Arabella can be worn and changed in many different ways. Shown above with the detachable ruffle strap!
4. Dripping in Pearls
From pearl earrings, necklaces, dress accents and more...we are of the opinion that you can never have too many pearls in your bridal wardrobe. When it comes to our vintage-inspired brides, we always pull our pearl-adorned bridal cape into the try-on room (just in case!)
Paired above with our 20's inspired Elise dress, bride Grace customized her gown to add even more pearl accents by swapping the silver beads on the gown for all pearls. And with Chicago as the backdrop for her vintage-inspired wedding, could there be a more perfect match?
5. Backyard Romance: Sloane Dress
If you're planning an intimate ceremony, perhaps a backyard affair, you probably are wedding dress shopping with comfort at the top of your list. It's rare to find a dress that has the vintage-inspired charm you crave without the fuss of an actual vintage dress. For our vintage romantic brides, we always recommend our Bride favorite, Sloane Dress.

From the soft 100% silk skirt, to the delicate French lace and button up back, the Sloane dress looks good from every angle. It's a dress perfect for your backyard intimate ceremony, your mountain-side nuptials, or your barn reception.
6. A Vintage-Inspired Reception Mini
For the vintage-inspired bride who has already locked in her dress but is flirting with the idea of a dress change...let us sway you to the dark side. We may of covered basque-waists earlier, but seriously; it is THE trend for 2025. Which is why our new Illona dress had to also make our vintage-inspired wedding dress list.

Short and oh-so-sweet, Illona features a delicate french lace and girly tulle skirt. We also love the exposed boning to accent the basque-waist and the silk-draped bodice with peek-a-boo lace detailing.
